Wayne McGregor’s CHROMA – The Royal Ballet

The dancers moved like an undiscovered species of snappy mini-molluscs in John Pawson’s minimalist light hungry set. Amazing.

Pawson describes his work as “A design for the stage which uses the architectural motifs of inside and outside, entrance and exit, light and shadow, void and plenitude to create a spatially charged environment which is explored through the medium of the dancers’ bodies.” See more of his work at www.johnpawson.com
